Bouquets · what's on the bench

Every bouquet, every price, and what's in season.

Nothing here is a stock photo of somebody else's flowers. These are the prices things start at, and every one of them gets built up or down to the number you give me on the phone.

Prices

From an £8 buttonhole to the full statement.

Every price below is a starting point, not a fixed menu. Give me a number and I'll make it work harder than it should.

A close bunch of sunflowers cut for this week's bouquets

The weekly bouquet

from £30

A seasonal mix I choose on the day, tied in brown paper and twine. Say who it's for and I'll pitch it right, every time.

Deep red roses gathered for an anniversary bouquet

Something special

from £45

For the anniversaries and the apologies. Bigger, wrapped properly, with the card written by hand.

A single pink tulip, the kind I use for quieter sympathy arrangements

Sympathy flowers

from £40

Quiet, careful arrangements, handled properly from the first phone call. More on how that works below.

The statement

from £60

When it needs to stop someone in the doorway. Twice the stems of the weekly bouquet, conditioned overnight, delivered in water.

Posies and thank-yous

from £18

A small hand-tie for teachers, neighbours and the thank-yous that don't need a speech. Ready the same day, every day I'm open.

Buttonholes and pins

from £8

For weddings, proms and anyone who fancies one on a Tuesday. Made the morning of, boxed with a pin and a spare.

Ring me with a budget. I'll do the rest.

Tell me the occasion, the person and the number, and leave the choosing to me. You get a photo of the finished bouquet before it leaves the shop, every single time.

    The words, sorted

If you're stuck on the card, tell me about them and I'll help you find the words. I write every sympathy card by hand.

The timing, mine to worry about

I speak to the funeral director myself and deliver where and when they need it, at no extra charge. Flowers to the house afterwards, if you'd like, too.

Why 2pm?

Because the van leaves at three.

Everything ordered by two gets tied, watered and loaded for the afternoon round, and I'm knocking on doors until six. Order after two and yours simply leads the round tomorrow.

Ring the shop and I'll tell you exactly when it lands.

What's in season

The bench changes four times a year. Good.

I don't fly peonies in for December. Whatever the season is doing well, that's what your bouquet is built from, and it lasts longer for it.

Spring

March to May

Tulips by the armful, ranunculus, narcissi and blossom branches cut long. The shop smells best in April, and I'll die on that hill.

Summer

June to August

Sweet peas, stocks, garden roses and the first sunflowers. Wedding season, so ring early in the week for big orders.

Autumn

September to November

Dahlias until the first frost takes them, hydrangea, rosehips and grasses that dry beautifully on the mantelpiece.

Winter

December to February

Amaryllis, hellebores, scented foliage and everything dried. Wreath season takes over the back table from late November.

Order today

Beat the 2pm cut-off and it's there by teatime.

One call, about two minutes, and a photo of the finished bouquet before it leaves the shop.
